At the heart of every 8″ Encased Coil mattress is our encased coil innerspring unit. Comprised of hundreds of individually wrapped, heat-tempered carbon steel coils, each acting independently to eliminate motion transfer while providing exceptional comfort. Add two 2″ pieces of super soft foam and wrap it in our exclusive JOY® natural cotton batting and you’ve got a plush sofa-like feel with healthful nighttime support.

Description

  • For added strength, the heavy cotton twill outer shell is constructed like a box–with top, bottom and side
    panels–not like a pillow as on other futons.
  • Our futons have 25% more lace tufts than the competition.
  • We ‘crown’ each futon across the middle with several pounds of extra cotton top and bottom for extra comfort and support.
  • Double-stitched seams won’t split or unwind.
  • Two layers of super-soft foam provide extra resiliency and long-lasting comfort.
  • 560 Pre-compressed, 15 gauge coils encased within a premium quality fabric pocket and secured to a durable stabilizer panel, creating a tightly-locked unit where each spring compresses straight up and down,
    eliminating “roll together.” Our spring forming process allows each coil to retain its bounce long beyond the competition.
  • Custom-blended “JOY” cotton batting, the densest most durable in the world, using nothing but the purest cotton picker and linter available.
